As hundreds of cities around the world unite today to stand vigil for an end to abortion, one abortion facility will NOT have prayer warriors in front of it: Fredericton, New Brunswick.
The abortion facility is going out of business!
"Morgentaler Clinic" opened 30 years ago. A decade ago it closed temporarily before reopening as "Clinic 554."
But pro-lifers brought a 40 Days for Life campaign to town last year, and the facility's financial problems became too much to bear.
Local 40 Days for Life participants report this is the first Canadian abortion facility to close in response to pro-life efforts in decades.
Canada has the world's most extreme abortion laws...
...and if God can answer prayers to close an abortion facility there, He can do it where you live too!
Don't make excuses! Find the vigil nearest you, sign up, and go pray for an end to abortion where it matters most:

Grand Rapids, Michigan
Grand Rapids, Michigan, kicked off its 29th 40 Days for Life campaign with a visit from former abortionist and current 40 Days for Life director of medical affairs and education Dr. Haywood Robinson.
More than 180 people showed up--even on Super Bowl Sunday--to hear Haywood talk about his journey from abortionist to pro-life advocate.
"Dr. Robinson held the crowd captive with his gentle demeanor and strong conviction that we must pray to end abortion and speak boldly about the humanity of the unborn child," said Laura, the longtime campaign leader.
After the presentation, in which Haywood described learning how to do abortions, he took questions for an hour.
Waterville, Maine
The abortion facility in Augusta, Maine, is temporarily inaccessible due to construction...
...so Janet moved her vigil to nearby Waterville. She launched the campaign by training dozens of new sidewalk counselors using 40 Days for Life University's Sidewalk Outreach curriculum.
"Some who were on the fence signed up for vigil hours after attending the training," Janet said. "We have another [session] on Monday."
Then the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name him Jesus."
--Luke 1:30-33
God, we ask you to be with every expectant mother. Give them the courage of Mary to say yes to your divine will, even in the most unexpected circumstances. Help us to notice women in need and embrace every mother facing an unplanned pregnancy. Amen.
