Recently, the New York Times reported that Donald Trump is privately supporting a national 16-week abortion ban with exceptions for rape, incest, and the life of the mother.
Instituting nationwide protections for unborn babies sounds great…

Prohibiting abortion after 16 weeks would still leave America with one of the most liberal abortion laws in the world...
...and would protect a relatively tiny number of babies given that 93 percent of abortions take place in the first trimester.
Richmond, Virginia
Nina witnessed a car occupied by two women enter Planned Parenthood's parking lot. When the car departed, only one woman was inside.
"I spoke to her and asked [whether] she was here for pregnancy," Nina explained. "She said her friend was pregnant..."
Nina provided a brochure and phone number for a local pregnancy help center and exhorted the woman to share the information with her friend.
The woman gratefully accepted the information, which led her friend to visit the local pregnancy help center!
Zhongli, Taiwan
Campaign volunteers in Taiwan give away more than 40 pieces of literature to passersby every day.
The outreach made an impression on one young child who donated five cents to help protect unborn children from abortion.
"This is our little work here," wrote the Zhongli leadership team. "Little by little we change the culture of death into the culture of life."
Riga, Latvia
Latvian 40 Days for Life participants have ramped up their outreach efforts as they plan a prayer walk around their hospital later this month.
They also shared their mission at a Family and Life conference and will soon film a television program about their campaign.
Meanwhile, their vigil grows stronger. About three dozen volunteers have a regularly scheduled shift--while dozens of others fill in at the vigil site as their schedules allow.
