Cherry Hill, New Jersey
Longtime 40 Days for Life leader Claire approached a car leaving the Cherry Hill abortion facility.
Claire observed that the passenger wore a band indicating she had come for an abortion. Claire asked whether the procedure had been completed.
"No, I changed my mind," the woman responded.
Claire congratulated her, shared her contact information, and provided pregnancy help resources.
Madrid, Spain
40 Days for Life volunteers in Spain are subject to some of the most draconian anti-pro-life speech restrictions in the world.
It's not stopping them from saving babies.
Two young women in the Spanish capital decided not to show up for their abortion appointments--opting instead for ultrasound appointments, where they met their babies and said "yes" to life!
Tunja, Colombia
An older mother was referred for an abortion because her age allegedly made the pregnancy "high risk."
As the mom arrived at the abortion facility, she was moved by the presence of 40 Days for Life volunteers and told them about her situation. Vigil participants offered their support. A priest offered her a special blessing. The woman decided to proceed with her pregnancy.
"However the baby comes, it is welcome," she told prayer warriors. "You have changed my life!"

Dear Lord, I know that you are always with me and that you work all things for good. When the truth of your perpetual presence is difficult to grasp, give me the grace to remember that you are a good and gracious father in every circumstance. Help us to speak this truth to those around us. In a special way, we ask you to wrap mothers who feel abandoned in your mantle. Amen.
