Sometimes it only takes a picture to tell the story -- and today I have two powerful photos that remind us of what God can do in your community.
But first, if you're ready to bring 40 Days for Life to your town ... apply now!
Applications remain open through next Tuesday, December 20.
Still thinking about it? Look at this picture of a young lady who signed the 40 Days for Life bus in West Covina, California.
Her name is Leia. She's 5 years old ... and her mom said "yes" to life while 40 Days for Life volunteers prayed outside an abortion facility in La Puente, California.
Yvonne, the local leader at that time in La Puente, has kept in touch with Leia's family through the years. She attended Leia's baptism ... and when Leia's parents decided to marry, Yvonne was at the wedding.
Years earlier, Yvonne had stepped forward in faith to lead 40 Days for Life in La Puente. She is now leading vigils at another abortion center -- because that abortion facility in La Puente is now CLOSED!
The next picture shows a woman who was also profoundly affected by a 40 Days for Life campaign.
This is Michelle, who at one time worked at the abortion center in Columbia, South Carolina -- the place where 40 Days for Life volunteers peacefully prayed on the sidewalk outside.
She saw horrific things inside Planned Parenthood, working alongside the abortionists. But she eventually experienced a change of heart after miscarrying her own twins ... and recognizing the preciousness of life.
At the 40 Days for Life vigil, Michelle spoke out against Planned Parenthood ... thanked Mark, the local leader, as well as the other volunteers ... and then she signed the bus.
All these things were set in motion because someone said YES to the call to lead 40 Days for Life ... to bring the light of Christ to places of despair and darkness.
Are you that "someone" in your town?
Apply now!
You have until the end of the day next Tuesday to take that leap of faith!
If you need any additional information, please ask. It's real work ... but with prayer, it can save lives -- and help end abortion where you live.
