"Great news!" said Jim, the 40 Days for Life coordinator in Fort Pierce.
"Since all of you and others around the world committed more time of prayer and fasting to end abortion, great things have been happening at our vigil site," he said.
On the first Saturday of the campaign, volunteers outside the abortion center heard from two women who'd changed their minds and decided not to have abortions. On the following Monday, another mother chose life for her child.
"That's three babies and moms spared in the first week of 40 Days for Life," Jim said. "So if anyone ever tells you God doesn't honor prayer and fasting, let them know about 40 Days for Life!"
