Three pastors helped the Memphis team kick off their campaign with rally at a church around the corner from Planned Parenthood.
?Pastor Ezell Owens opened us up in prayer, Pastor Ben Wilkins gave a Life talk and Pastor Mark Wade did the closing prayer at Planned Parenthood,? said Kathy, the local director.
?Memphis is excited,? she said. Local officials just reported that abortions in the area are down 37% -- there are only two abortion centers remaining in Memphis.
?Let's make history and close them down!? Kathy said. ?We?ve had a lot of new people come and sign up for the vigil. We are humbled to see what God is going to do with 40 Days for Life this fall!?
