When business hours ended on a Friday afternoon at the Women’s Health Specialists abortion facility in Sacramento, California, the doors were locked … forever … after 42 years of abortions!
For the 86th time, an abortion center where 40 Days for Life prayer vigils were held outside has gone out of business!
Wynette, one of the longtime local 40 Days for Life leaders in Sacramento, said the facility blamed the closure on lack of funding. “There hasn’t been any loss of abortion funding in California,” she said. “But most definitely, their clientele numbers have dwindled over the years.”
People have prayed in front of Women’s Health Specialists for decades — and during that time, there were thirteen 40 Days for Life vigils.
We believe that prayer makes a difference — and victories like this one are signs of the glory of God, who hears and answers your prayers!
We’re getting ready for the next 40 Days for Life campaign — from September 27 to November 5. Applications to lead local vigils open in just a little over three weeks!
Will the abortion center in YOUR town be the next to close?
It’s time to pray … and act!
