This is Memorial Day weekend -- the time those of us in the United States remember the people who made the ultimate sacrifice so we can have our freedom.
And one of the great freedoms we enjoy is the freedom to fight the injustice of abortion.
The pro-life movement is a movement of converts -- and therefore a movement of hope. Prayer really does change hearts and minds.
I was reminded of that on October 5, 2009 when Planned Parenthood abortion center director Abby Johnson walked into my office and told me she'd had a change of heart on abortion.
At the time, Abby was the 26th abortion facility worker to have a conversion and leave the abortion industry during a 40 Days for Life campaign. We have now seen God use 40 Days for Life to change the hearts of 154 abortion staffers.
Abby has helped hundreds of workers, just like her, leave the abortion industry though her ministry, And Then There Were None.
There may be an Abby Johnson in the abortion facility where you live. Over the next few weeks, please discern if God is calling you to LEAD a 40 Days for Life campaign from September 27 to November 5 -- to change hearts and minds where you live. Applications to lead a local campaign open on June 1.
The majority of 40 Days for Life campaigns are led by courageous pro-life women ... at a time when women and femininity are under attack. Pro-abortion advocates insist that for women, abortion is a key to their "empowerment."
That's why 40 Days for Life will be joining Abby Johnson and many informative, inspiring speakers for the Pro-Life Women's Conference in Orlando this summer.
From June 23-25, pro-life women can hear dynamic presentations, attend breakout sessions, learn from leadership panels and be equipped to make a difference where you live.
This conference is filling up quickly ... so women are encouraged to register now:
40 Days for Life podcast on using our freedoms to save lives. It is one of our most listened to pro-life podcasts!
