In the past, they've had Planned Parenthood executives tell them that peaceful prayer volunteers are dangerous and demanded that federal law enforcement "get rid of 40 Days for Life."
The FBI ignored these absurd demands…until now.
What changed? The overturning of Roe v. Wade. 40 Days for Life is closing abortion facilities, and the only way to get rid of 40 Days for Life is to get rid of free speech.
I won't sugarcoat it: We continue to be harassed by FBI inquiries across the country with 1-2 inquiries per week. We've also seen our 40 Days for Life volunteer, Mark Houck, have his house raided at gunpoint by the FBI, an action the FBI absurdly continues to defend...despite a jury deliberating for less than an hour before Mark handed the FBI an embarrassing loss.
We represented Mark from the start of his case and continue to do so. With the increased persecution, we've had many talented attorneys--including many from the DOJ--approach us about helping us fight back to defend our rights against the weaponization of the FBI.

The first two cases of the Institute of Law & Justice involve free speech:
- New York: Westchester County has passed a "buffer zone" to ban pro-life Americans within up to 100 feet of the abortion facility. We filed a lawsuit, which we expect to win at the Supreme Court and END all buffer zones across the entire nation.
- South Carolina: Prayer volunteers have been told by local police that they cannot stand in the public right of way. A Planned Parenthood employee is on the county council and employs the police chief, who also refuses to take action against Planned Parenthood volunteers filmed stealing 40 Days for Life signs.
All the persecution is due to God effectively using 40 Days for Life to save lives.
