Margaret was frustrated.
A cycle of abortion in her own family motivated Margaret to lead a 40 Days for Life campaign in Helena, Montana...
...but she hadn't confirmed a single saved baby, converted abortion worker, or any positive results at all.
To make matters worse, she learned that her granddaughter was pregnant--and planning to have an abortion.
It was a low moment. But then Margaret's volunteers informed her that they had saved their first baby! And that's not all--it turns out the saved baby was Margaret's great-grandchild!

Shreveport, Louisiana
Who doesn't love a parade?
The Shreveport campaign just happened to hold its kickoff rally at the same time a Mardi Gras parade was going through town--right past the rally site!
"Hundreds of people were able to see the witness for life," wrote Chris.
Bud, a first-time 40 Days for Life campaign leader, said the day was unforgettable. "The Gospel was shared, signs were held, and information handed out," he reported. "More people heard and read about ending abortion than we could have imagined."
Columbia, South Carolina
Mark, the local leader in Columbia, South Carolina, organizes his 40 Days for Life campaign through A Moment of Hope, a local pro-life ministry he runs.
He recently traveled to Wisconsin to pick up a mobile ultrasound unit his organization acquired. Before returning home to South Carolina, he visited 40 Days for Life Campaign Director Steve Karlen--and gave him a tour of the rig!
"Mark and his team already save a lot of babies," Steve noted. "I can't wait to see how many more lives are touched with a mobile ultrasound unit parked next to the vigil site!"
Blow the trumpet in Zion! Proclaim a fast, call an assembly. Gather the people, notify the congregation. Assemble the elders; gather the children and the infants at the breast … Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep and say, "Spare, O Lord, your people."
—Joel 2:15-17
Lord, we ask for the strength, courage, wisdom, determination and stamina to carry out this mission according to Your will. Guide us, we pray, as we go forth and proclaim Your truth.
