With an Iowa law protecting unborn babies once a heartbeat can be detected tied up in the courts, a recent Associated Press article on the legislation cited supposed medical professionals who claim unborn children don't even have hearts at six weeks' gestation.
Abortion advocates will say whatever it takes to bring down pro-life laws...so pro-lifers need to be prepared to cut through the pro-abortion distortion.

Paris, France
There has never been a 40 Days for Life campaign in France--until now!
For years, pro-lifers thought that holding a vigil in France was illegal.
But Parisian pro-lifers have been working with authorities and the police to organize a peaceful and law-abiding presence.
"The long-awaited, first-ever French 40 Days for Life [campaign] has finally started!" said Adrian. "On Ash Wednesday, the first brave volunteers started praying in front of the Hôpital Cochin, chosen for the number of abortions that are committed."
Adrian added that the hospital appears to be the largest in the country that performs abortions.
Columbia, South Carolina
A large crowd showed up in Columbia for a bilingual prayer vigil led by a local priest.
"Huge turnout today," said Maureen, the local leader. "There were a lot of first-time attendees, and it was an opportunity to recruit people to sign up for our campaign."
