Tucson, Arizona
Tucson leader Laura said that vigil participation has tripled from previous years!
"A lot of new people are engaging, which I believe has a lot to do with the new Texas Heartbeat Act raising awareness," she said.
That new engagement has provided powerful community outreach and education opportunities.
"I was able to share some great information from What to Say When," Laura reported. "I am feeling like we are extra blessed."
Carson, California
Laura has led the 40 Days for Life campaign in Lawndale for years--and has now started a new vigil in nearby Carson. The two campaigns are working together to fill the sidewalks--and community outreach is critical.
"We immediately got the attention of people in the neighborhood, inviting some questions and engagement," Laura said. "We were able to offer options to those [patronizing] this clinic."
This outreach is needed in the region as Laura said a 20-mile stretch through Los Angeles is home to more than 30 abortion facilities!
"Thanks, Lord, for bringing us more volunteers in this battle to defend life."
