Planned Parenthood hung a baby mobile above the operating table at its now-closed abortion facility in College Station, Texas.
Why?
To distract every abortion client from the gruesome reality that she was about to end the life of her child.
Abortion survives--and thrives--on distraction.
As we near the midway point of this Lenten 40 Days for Life campaign, the devil will try to distract you from your commitment to defend abortion-vulnerable moms and babies.
On today's video blog, we reveal the types of distraction to watch out for...and examples on how to maintain focus and finish strong:

Overland Park, Kansas
Wendy in Overland Park said that vigil participation is up--despite a cold first week of the vigil.
"People are just so enthusiastic to be praying on the sidewalk," she reported.
A young man who works near the vigil site stopped by to tell volunteers he liked their signs. When his workday ended, he came back and joined the vigil!
The newest 40 Days for Life participant has now expressed interest in becoming a sidewalk counselor.
Colorado Springs, Colorado
Michele in Colorado Springs reported yet another instance where unforeseen circumstances prevented Planned Parenthood from doing abortions.
"Something happened, and a sewage truck went to the abortion clinic," Michele said. "Thank you, Lord, for stopping the slaughter of these babies today!"
A woman scheduled for an abortion came out of the building and spoke with a prayer volunteer.
"Please pray that this mom and all the moms who could not have abortions today will use this time to rethink their decision and choose LIFE!" Michele exhorted her team.
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Father, hear our prayer! Snatch desperate mothers from the fire. Bring them out of our abortion businesses and into our pregnancy help centers. Deliver them from evil. Use us to help them choose life and see your hand of provision.
