Shawn, It hasn't been a fun week for Raquel in El Paso, Texas.

Yesterday, her car broke down. With no vehicle, she had to walk to the 40 Days for Life vigil in front of Planned Parenthood...

...where her prayers were answered with a SAVED BABY!

"[She] walked straight to the sidewalk to pray for the next two hours...meaning we all have no excuse!" wrote Mark, who oversees the El Paso Area campaigns.

Mark's intern, Christa, confirmed that another woman seeking sexually transmitted infection testing turned away from Planned Parenthood to find help elsewhere.

All-in-all, Raquel's week is looking up!

Antelope Valley, California

The team in Antelope Valley, California just launched its 14th consecutive 40 Days for Life campaign!

"Some prayer warriors come from communities as far as 40 miles away," said Julio.

Over the years, the community has been blessed to confirm three babies saved from abortion. One of those saved babies was particularly dramatic as the mother went through the abortion pill reversal process after taking the chemical abortion pill!

Norman, Oklahoma

More than a hundred people turned out for Norman, Oklahoma's kickoff event.

Former abortion worker Julie Wilkinson--who also played a nurse in Unplanned--provided the keynote address.

Connie, the local leader, said a number of first-time participants attended and now plan on praying at the vigil!

In those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplying, there arose a complaint against the Hebrews by the Hellenists, because their widows were neglected in the daily distribution. — Acts 6:1

Father, in the Church’s desire to engage our communities with the Gospel, let us gain wisdom from those who have gone before us and cherish their experiences and perspectives. Help us to appreciate every soul in the body of Christ and minister properly to everybody.
