Thousands of babies are alive and well today thanks to abortion pill reversal...
...but in some cases it's also possible to reverse a late-term abortion.
After beginning a brutal multi-day abortion procedure, Karla changed her mind. But while abortion facility employees told her it was too late to save her baby, the local pregnancy help center said otherwise.
Sidewalk counselors brought the mom to that pregnancy center, and doctors were able to stop the abortion!
Karla has since given birth to a beautiful baby girl.
Recently, Karla and her daughter joined a 40 Days for Life rally in Escondido, California, to share her gratitude with vigil participants.
"Karla brought the baby to the [event], allowed us to hold her, and thanked everyone for their prayers and for the help they bring out to the sidewalks," reported Alma, the local campaign leader.
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
A woman drove by the Steel City 40 Days for Life vigil and knew she had to stop and tell her story. Two decades ago, she was in the middle of her third abortion when she felt her baby move.
"She told the workers that she wanted to stop," reported longtime Pittsburgh leader Nikki. "They did eventually stop the procedure, but charged her for the abortion nonetheless."
The mom now has a beautiful 20-year-old daughter--and seven other living children as well!
"She simply radiated joy and beauty," Nikki said. "Thank God for this courageous and godly woman."
Colombia
The prayers of vigil participants across Colombia have helped save at least three babies from late-term abortions.
"A seven-months-pregnant woman in Teusaquillo was going to have an abortion," explained 40 Days for Life director of Latin American campaigns Lourdes Varela. "A 40 Days for Life volunteer offered a free ultrasound, and the woman accepted."
She chose life and will place her child for adoption.
Another woman in Teusaquillo was 28 weeks pregnant and planning an abortion because of a difficult financial situation--but she too chose life after prayer warriors provided her with help.
Finally, in Florencia, Caqueta, campaign volunteers reached out to a 29-weeks-pregnant mother. It took a month, but the mom finally decided to keep her baby!

Heavenly Father, we thank you for your love, mercy, and goodness. We praise you for the gift of life and the conviction to defend it at all stages. Father, give us the grace to walk alongside of and pray for those poor souls who are so greatly afflicted in their souls. Help us to be compassionate, but bold and courageous, as we defend what is true and just. As the division in our world increases, let us be the unitive light that draws souls to your goodness, love and mercy. Amen.
