Abortion facilities continue to close in post-Roe America.
This time, it's the infamous Southwestern Women's Surgery Center in Dallas, which had been killing babies for five decades.
The notorious facility was owned by an even more notorious abortionist, Curtis Boyd--an ordained Baptist minister in his mid-80s who secretly did abortions before Roe v. Wade.
"Am I killing?" Boyd once asked himself in an interview before answering, "Yes, I am. I know that."
Now, his Dallas abortion center is closed forever.
"Southwestern was the site of many 40 Days for Life prayer vigils, most of them 24 hours a day," wrote Susan, the longtime Dallas campaign leader. "God blessed us with 118 babies saved that we know of."
One of those 40 Days for Life campaigns involved 6,000 volunteers participating!
Dallas area pro-lifers are now planning a memorial service to honor the lives of the many thousands of babies killed at the facility.
North Tonawanda, New York
Kristen is leading North Tonawanda's first 40 Days for Life campaign.
"Our brand-new campaign is taking shape by the grace of God!" Kristen said.
Vigil participants said they've seen some pushback from the community as "the devil is seeing his territory being taken away."
One recent Saturday--the abortion facility's busiest day of the week--Planned Parenthood was closed for business!
"We have been able to keep the traffic into a historically busy Planned Parenthood to a minimum and expose a facility that’s been flying under the radar," Kristen added.
Bogota, Colombia
A 16-year-old expectant mother in Bogota was terrified to break the news of her pregnancy to her parents.
To make matters worse, her boyfriend quit returning her calls.
But fortunately, the teen's godmother called 40 Days for Life campaign volunteers to ask for help. Ruby took the call, spoke with the young woman, and empowered her to choose life!
Thus says the Lord: At that time, I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people. (…) With age-old love I have loved you; so, I have kept my mercy toward you. Again, I will build you, and you shall stay built.
--Jeremiah 31:3
Eternal Father, You love us with an infinite and unfathomable love. Grant us the grace to understand the incalculable dignity of each human person. Strengthen us in our daily struggle against evil, that we may be witnesses in the world of Your love for us. Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
