Praying at a 40 Days for Life vigil isn't scary...
...but 40 Days for Life campaigns have reported a most terrifying sight: ambulances arriving to take women away from their local abortion facilities!
Four vigil participants in Orlando, Florida, witnessed a pale woman taken out of Planned Parenthood on a gurney.
"[She] had a machine, which she appeared to be hooked up to," reported Stephen, the longtime local campaign leader.
The ambulance wasn't the only frightening vehicle Orlando prayer warriors reported seeing.
About 15 minutes earlier, a medical waste truck arrived at the abortion facility.
A vigil volunteer named Marian said the thought of unborn babies' bodies being treated as trash saddened the four vigil participants on the sidewalk. "However, we felt comforted and humbled by the realization that we had given them a prayer-filled graveside service!"
Pueblo, Colorado
Pueblo leader Diane said that multiple emergency vehicles showed up at the local abortion facility.
"After about 20 minutes, emergency personnel came out of the building with someone on an ambulance cot," she said.
Whoever it was that needed emergency care, Diane said it was fortunate that a 40 Days for Life prayer warrior was on hand to pray--and she asked the rest of her team to keep the situation in prayer as well.
Bratislava, Slovakia
Vigil participants in Bratislava witnessed workers loading four or five large black bins onto a medical waste truck.
"The truck was marked as a university hospital truck, so who knows what they're going to do with it?" the campaign leaders wrote.
Wichita, Kansas
The 40 Days for Life team in Wichita witnessed yet another disturbing vehicle when a money truck literally backed up to Planned Parenthood.
"I found it odd that the truck parked so close to the front entrance, backing up over the front sidewalk into their landscaping area and also blocking a handicap space in order to run into the building," wrote Sue, the local leader.
Concord, California
Marlene in Concord reported an ambulance "sneaking" into the back of the facility property.
"What are they doing to women?" she asked.
