Bozeman, Montana
Pro-lifers in Bozeman are hosting the city's first 40 Days for Life campaign in a decade and a half in front of the local abortion referral center.
40 Days for Life vigils are particularly effective in front of referral facilities because abortion-minded moms have time to consider the prayers and witness of campaign volunteers in between getting an abortion referral and getting the actual abortion.
Our general counsel, Matt Britton, recently visited the Bozeman vigil and described the local team as "very dedicated, highly organized, and professional."
The first-time leadership team already had prayer warriors scheduled for a majority of the vigil's hours!
"They are specifically on the lookout for whether the referral center is dispensing the abortion pill or arranging for transportation to abortion facilities inside and outside of Montana," Matt reported.
Ann Arbor, Michigan
The 40 Days for Life team in Ann Arbor routinely holds Jericho Marches, which recall how God directed the ancient Israelites to march around the city of Jericho to bring down its walls.
Ann Arbor participants circle Planned Parenthood while praying that God will bring down the spiritual walls that support the abortion industry. (Though God has answered prayers to bring down literal walls too!)
More than 70 40 Days for Life participants showed up to march--and they could sense those spiritual walls falling.
"I noticed something pretty amazing today. I did not hear a single heckle from cars passing by!" noted one attendee. "I felt a real shift in the response."
