Abortion advocates often say nobody is pro-abortion; they're just pro-choice.
But abortion advocates certainly appear enthusiastic about killing unborn babies. From the "Shout Your Abortion" movement to abortion "buddy comedy" movies, these activists don't just want abortion to be legal...they want abortion to be celebrated.
They even designated today as "Abortion Provider Appreciation Day."
Maureen, the Falls Church, Virginia 40 Days for Life leader, said a neighboring town was set to officially proclaim March 10 Abortion Provider Appreciation Day with a resolution that would "celebrate the courage, compassion, and the high-quality care that abortion providers and clinic staff provide."
But the resolution drew such a backlash that the City Council dropped it entirely!
In reality, it's the women and men serving in pregnancy help centers who deserve appreciation.
While those pregnancy help centers generally aren't subsidized by taxpayers, they still dramatically outnumber abortion facilities more than 3 to 1 !
Maureen and her team created a brochure to inform abortion center clients of locally based abortion alternatives--as well as abortion pill reversal resources, post-abortion healing programs, and more. And the brochure is available in both English and Spanish.
"It has been successfully used," Maureen said. "We can attribute a few saves to it."
Jos, Nigeria
Jos 40 Days for Life leader Maureen led her team on a Walk for Life around the local university campus as community outreach to an abortion-vulnerable demographic.
"We had a prayer session first because we can't achieve anything without asking God's help," she said.
The Jos team has saved numerous babies over the years, and right now, it is actively trying to empower an abortion-minded young woman to choose life. Pray for God to give them the right words!
Savannah, Georgia
40 Days for Life unites the Body of Christ in prayer.

"3 pastors, a worship pastor, the campaign leader, 3 former campaign leaders, 2 pregnancy center directors and ultrasound nurses, and 10 churches made for a POWERFUL time of prayer!" wrote Paula, the former leader and a still-active participant.
