As the vigil begins today, dozens of cities across the United States transition to their 40 Days for Life campaigns after hosting year-round 40 Days for Life 365 vigils.
Those year-round vigils have already saved hundreds of lives from abortion this year.
A Marietta vigil participant received a text message from an abortion-bound mom. "I'm glad I pulled over and talked to you," the message read. "I canceled my abortion appointment today."
After having the opportunity to meet her baby via ultrasound, the mother realized she couldn't go through with it!
Milwaukee, Wisconsin
September and Dan in Milwaukee joined 40 Days for Life 365 this summer.
They've already saved 56 babies!
Dan reported that one abortion-bound mother stayed inside the abortion facility for just four minutes and ten seconds before exiting to seek life-affirming alternatives.
"The escorts do not like when we walk people to the [pregnancy help center]," September reported. "An escort walked right in the door of [the pregnancy help center], trying to talk the person out of going there. I thought they were about 'choice.'"
