Planned Parenthood is reeling in Iowa, as NINE of the abortion giant's facilities in the Hawkeye State have closed FOREVER following a 40 Days for Life campaign!
The Council Bluffs Planned Parenthood closed earlier this week--just months after the Cedar Falls location went out of business.
"Awesome news. We are so excited!" said Catherine, the longtime 40 Days for Life leader in Council Bluffs.
As she celebrated with her team, Catherine had a question: "What number are we?"
The Council Bluffs Planned Parenthood is the 146th abortion facility to go under following a 40 Days for Life vigil.
After many years of prayers and hard work, Council Bluffs is finally ABORTION-FREE!
Which city will be the next to end abortion?
Take a step toward ending abortion where you live by signing up for your closest 40 Days for Life vigil:
Warsaw, Poland
Poland has strong legal protections for unborn children, but pro-lifers in the country aren't going to leave defending life to politicians.
"The first campaign in Warsaw is off to a great start," said 40 Days for Life director of international campaigns Robert Colquhoun. "The campaign is gathering momentum as more people are attending the vigil."
Passersby have been requesting information--and prayers--from vigil participants.
As successful as the campaign has been so far, Eliasz, the local leader, said it's just a first step. "They are doing a great job!" Robert commented.
Phoenix, Arizona
40 Days for Life director of campaign advancement and 40 Days for Life 365 Heather Gardner recently visited Arizona, where prayer volunteers from the Phoenix, Glendale, and Tempe campaigns joined together for a joint rally.
The campaigns' local leaders shared stories of encouragement, while Heather encouraged prospective vigil participants by sharing her story of how she reluctantly got involved in praying in front of abortion facilities years ago...
...and subsequently witnessed many miracles of lives saved and the conversion of abortion workers.
They came bringing to him a paralytic carried by four men. Unable to get near Jesus because of the crowd, they opened up the roof above him. After they had broken through, they let down the mat on which the paralytic was lying. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Child, your sins are forgiven."

Lord, your love is always the same and somehow always new. Your love is creative. Guide my steps, prompt my conversations, and help me to know how to reach expectant mothers contemplating an abortion. Help me to believe that you can and will work miracles through my faith.
