It is with heavy hearts that we inform you that our dear friend, 40 Days for Life Outreach Director Sue Thayer, died after courageously battling cancer.

Sue is the only Planned Parenthood manager to lead a campaign outside her former workplace and she will be dearly missed by her 40 Days for Life family--and the entire pro-life movement.
Sue spent nearly two decades running a Planned Parenthood facility before a change of heart led her to speak out against the organization's webcam abortion practices. After leaving the abortion industry, Sue led a 40 Days for Life campaign that closed her former workplace.
Sue's conversion is a testament to the beauty and the power of God's mercy.
She dedicated her life to serving the Lord--and to serving the least of His people. Sue was actively involved in her local pregnancy help center. She lobbied for pro-life public policy in states across the country. And she spoke powerfully in defense of life as an expert on the harms of abortion--harms she had witnessed firsthand.
Sue spent the last three years assisting and supporting local campaign leaders as 40 Days for Life's Director of Outreach. She was relentless in her dedication, refusing to quit fighting for unborn children and their mothers--even until the last days of her life.
This dedication, warmth, sincerity, and genuine Christian charity made Sue beloved by her colleagues, 40 Days for Life leaders, and all who had the privilege of working alongside her.
Sue's life is a powerful testimony to the mercy of the Good Shepherd, who leaves the 99 sheep behind to save one sinner.
Please pray for Sue's family--especially her children--in the days and weeks ahead. And join us in thanking our gracious God for the lives and souls saved through Sue's faithful obedience.

If any man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains, and go and search for the one that is lost?
And if it turns out that he finds it, truly I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that have not gone astray.
So it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven for one of these little ones to perish.
