Vigil: Stand anywhere along the sidewalk in front of Planned Parenthood or across the street. Do not obstruct the driveways. Allow pedestrians to use the sidewalk and stand on the boulevard between the sidewalk and the street as they approach and pass. The sidewalk, boulevard, and street are public property. You have a right to be there and use that space. Please stay off the Planned Parenthood property. Do not approach the cars in their parking lot. Feel free to stand still and pray or to walk back and forth on the sidewalk.
Pray: This is a peaceful, prayerful, and lawful vigil. The focus is on prayer. You are not required to approach or talk to people entering and leaving Planned Parenthood. Be pleasant, respectful, and polite to any people who approach you. Pray a devotion, read scripture, sing hymns or songs, or pray silently.
Signs: You may have a sign to keep. Don't hesitate to get in touch with the leader through the website. Do not use any graphic or contentious signs.

Parking: Parking is anywhere on the street in designated spaces.
Safety: We encourage you to have a second person with you when you are there, especially after sunset. If you feel threatened or uncomfortable with any situation, move to safety and call 911 or the Waukesha Police if required. Your safety is more important. Call the Waukesha Vigil Leader and report the incident. 40 Days For Life will help out. If you can safely photograph or film events, that will be helpful.
Ignore any rude or contentious remarks. Never counter with disrespectful language or manners. Pray for those who upset you.

Planned Parenthood: This location does not do surgical abortions or the "abortion pill." They refer to other Planned Parenthood offices and advertise the "Morning After Pill."
