From September 26 to November 4, our community will take part in 40 Days for Life … a groundbreaking, coordinated international mobilization. We pray that, with God’s help, this will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city — and beyond.
Praying: Pray in the abandoned lot on the west side of Pontiac St. or pray while walking on the sidewalk around Planned Parenthood (do not cross the yellow line at the entrance and onto the property of Planned Parenthood - stay on the sidewalk). You are also welcome to pray the Stations of the Cross in the garden behind Marisol Health Monday-Saturday when Marsiol is in operation.
Parking: Park along the west side of Pontiac St. or in the abandoned lot on the west side of Pontiac St. directly across from the entrance to Planned Parenthood.
We Welcome People of All Faiths!
People and organizations of all faiths are welcome to sign-up for hours and to adopt full days. The Denver location currently has most days adopted by Catholic organizations simply because those are the contacts that we had. 40 Days for Life, however, is non-denominational and was founded by protestants. We would love for more people and organizations of a variety of faith backgrounds to be involved. All that is required is to desire to see abortion ended,to sign the statement of peace, and to agree to pray peacefully, without using graphic images or condemning language.
