From March 6 to April 14, our community will take part in 40 Days for Life … a groundbreaking, coordinated international mobilization. We pray that, with God’s help, this will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city — and beyond.
Our vigil location is within sight of the entrance to the Treatment Centre, which is part of the Queens Medical centre. This is where the majority of abortions are carried out in Nottingham. We stand at Leengate, which is the main road entrance to the hospital campus on the EAST side. There is a bridge over the river Leen, and we pray on the bridge, opposite Bell Fruit.
The Treatment Centre/QMC can be accessed by bus (from the city centre), by tram (from Nottingham station, or from Beeston), or by car. There are car parks on the QMC site, but parking is not free.
