Take a stand for life

From March 6 to April 14, our community will take part in 40 Days for Life … a groundbreaking, coordinated international  mobilization. We pray that, with God’s help, this will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city — and beyond.

Vigil Location

Intersection of Liberty and Smithfield, across from Driver's License Center.

NOTE: There is always a 40 Days for Life vigil shift manager at the vigil during vigil hours (7am-7pm).

Lenten Kick-Off Mass

Kick-Off Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 5th at 6:00 pm in St. Patrick Church in the Strip District (1711 Liberty Avenue). Pro-life Christians of every denomination are welcome!
A prayer procession to Planned Parenthood will follow the Mass, lead by Fr. Chris Donley, Administrator of City Center Parishes.
For those who cannot walk the (almost) one mile from St. Patrick Church to Planned Parenthood, you are welcome to join us at Planned Parenthood for final prayers on the sidewalk from 7:30-7:50 pm. Parking Suggestion for those who wish to attend the Mass and prayer procession: Park at the Greyhound Bus garage (corner of 12th & Liberty), then walk the seven-tenths of a mile to St. Patrick Church prior to Mass. Then, following the prayer at PP, it will less than a quarter mile back to your car.
