40 Days for Life isn't easy.
Standing vigil in front of your local abortion business might not win you any popularity contests. It's often a thankless job.
But there's too much at stake to wimp out!
On this week's episode of The 40 Days for Life Podcast, we talk about:
- why 2020 is NOT the year to sit on the sideline
- how women and babies are counting on YOU to be courageous in helping them overcome the fear that led them to make an abortion appointment
- the importance of putting prayer before action in the spiritual battle to end abortion

40 Days for Life kickoff events continue all week in cities around the world.
Boston, Massachusetts
It was standing-room only as more than 200 pro-lifers packed a gymnasium for Boston's kickoff event.
"Patricia Sandoval gave her powerful testimony of three abortions, working at Planned Parenthood, and ending up homeless and addicted to methamphetamines and cocaine," said Boston vigil leader Rita.
The attendees gave rave reviews to the story of Patricia's conversion--and a promise she made to her three aborted children that she would spend the rest of her life defending life.
Marietta, Georgia
Suzanne and Rachel in Marietta, Georgia hosted a MASSIVE kickoff rally with nearly 300 attendees!
"At least 30 churches were represented," Suzanne wrote.
Thanks be to God, the strong kickoff event (plus a lot of hard work behind the scenes) has led to MANY volunteers praying on the sidewalk.
"Our calendar is filling up," Rachel said. "We pray this campaign is the last in Marietta because Planned Parenthood closes."
Amen!
Glasgow, Scotland
Archbishop Philip Tartaglia helped open Glasgow's 40 Days for Life vigil--now in its fifth year.
The Archbishop responded to the popular pro-abortion argument that pro-lifers only care for women and babies until birth.
"Nonsense!" said the Archbishop. "We must rebuff such arguments and we do!"
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
—Matthew 6:25-26
Loving heavenly Father, help us to see the worth of all human beings by the way in which you provide for us. We would ask that you provide also the faith, grace and courage to enable us to protect that which is so precious to you.
