Birmingham, Alabama
The 40 Days for Life campaign in Birmingham is hosting its first vigil in front of a new abortion facility.
About 100 prayer warriors gathered for the launch rally. "Better than expected," said Ed, the local leader. "No Planned Parenthood employees were there, so we didn’t have the sprinklers turned on."
Birmingham's previous vigil site--where abortion workers got caught selling drugs in the parking lot--was in a quiet neighborhood without significant opportunity for public witness.
"At this new location, we have a four-lane highway with LOTS of traffic and LOTS of visibility," Ed reported. "We observed many horns and thumbs up and only two negative screamers."
The Birmingham team also has a new resource at its disposal at the new location: the presence of a mobile ultrasound unit that will provide free ultrasounds for abortion-vulnerable women.
Munich, Germany
It's still only September, but the weather has already gotten chilly in Munich.
"We started very well--so far so good," wrote Seve. "It's cold...but we have enough prayers."
Dover, Delaware
A cross-denominational group of prayer warriors joined the vigil in Dover, singing hymns and patriotic songs.
"We joined hearts and voices in solidarity," said Donna, the local organizer. "We raised our voices to Heaven."

Lord, send us to the poorest, the most broken, the most captive, the most blind and the most oppressed in the world, the innocent pre-born children in their mothers' wombs that are scheduled for destruction.
