When Roe is overturned, the shockwaves will resonate far and wide.
While the United States, shamefully, exports abortion around the world, we are also helping to empower other countries to end abortion!
Maracay, Venezuela
Geraldine in Maracay first learned of 40 Days for Life through the hugely successful campaigns in Colombia. She is now leading her second vigil.
"In Venezuela, abortion is illegal," Geraldine explained. "But we know abortion happens every day underground. Nobody talks about this genocide. The silence must be broken."
Venezuela is a socialist country, and Geraldine said there isn't a strong pro-life culture...but she's working to change that.
"With 40 Days for Life, we can expand the culture of life in our city and our country and make a land free of abortion!" she said.
Abuja, Nigeria
Yusuf in Nigeria organized a seminar to teach students about the harms of abortion. The hope is to instill pro-life convictions before young people find themselves in a place to even consider abortion.
But if they do end up in a crisis pregnancy, Yusuf is there to help.
"Glory be to God, a lady called me yesterday...and I scheduled a meeting with her," he said.
The mom planned to abort her 13-week-old baby, but when she saw the 40 Days for Life vigil, she changed her mind.
"Her boyfriend is not ready to take responsibility, but I promised to help her," Yusuf explained.
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

Lord, we are yours. Thank you for breathing into us the breath of life. Thank you for claiming us as your own. May our words and actions in defense of human life proclaim to all the world that you alone are Lord of life and death, Lord of our freedom and of our choices.
