Catonsville, Maryland
The abortion facility in Catonsville is located in a multistory office building. That makes Sidewalk Outreach a little more challenging.
But speaking at the Catonsville vigil's kickoff event, 40 Days for Life outreach director Ramona Trevino reminded prayer warriors that the mere presence of pro-lifers petitioning God moved her to leave her job managing a Planned Parenthood facility.
The Catonsville rally took place in the parking lot of a Chinese Baptist church across the street from the abortion facility.
"A gentleman whose home is next door to the church sat on his front porch listening attentively the entire time I spoke," Ramona recalled. "We hope that the message will inspire him to join the campaign--or at least spark a conversation about the issue."

Mariana has left no stone unturned as she leads her second 40 Days for Life campaign in New Haven.
She's been working with other leaders to recruit volunteers at vigils across the state, conducting bilingual outreach efforts in both English and Spanish. She also placed large foam campaign posters in churches across her area.
Mariana even planted seeds by explaining 40 Days for Life to a college student who laminated her 40 Days for Life signs at a local print shop!
But the angel said to him, "Do not be afraid, Zechariah, because your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall name him John. … He will be filled with the Holy Spirit even from his mother’s womb, and he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God."
