Local law enforcement has repeatedly told Columbia vigil participants they aren't allowed to stand in even the public right of way or step into the street or they will be ticketed. Meanwhile, 40 Days for Life volunteers have video evidence of Planned Parenthood volunteers standing in the right of way and streets and stealing their vigil supplies...but the police are taking almost no action in the vast majority of these cases.
Perhaps that's because a Planned Parenthood employee sits on the Richland County Council that appoints, evaluates, and employs the local police.
